Kagi Small Web is a discovery project focused on personal blogs, independent sites, webcomics, videos, and other human-made work that is poorly served by large search and recommendation systems. It treats smallness as an editorial signal rather than a defect. The feed surfaces recent posts from independent publishers, while search and topic tools provide more deliberate ways to explore the collection. A browser extension adds saving, appreciation, keyboard navigation, distraction-free reading, text-to-speech, and a dyslexia-friendly font.
Small Web revives the pleasant accident of finding one personal site and following its links into three stranger ones. Nobody pauses the journey to demand a follow, smash a bell, or optimize a personal brand funnel. The index is selective and incomplete, so it will not replace general search when the washing machine starts leaking. It is for voices, hobbies, and beautifully unnecessary research that commercial pages and popularity feeds tend to bury. The web feels larger when its smallest rooms are visible.
