Why it’s worth your time
Sandspiel is a browser-based falling-sand game by Max Bittker. Choose materials such as water, sand, fire, lava, and plants, then draw them onto a canvas and observe what happens.
Each material behaves differently, so your picture keeps changing after you place it. You can experiment with small reactions or build larger scenes where several elements interact. The open-ended format leaves you to decide what to make and what to try next.

“A few brush strokes are enough to create something worth watching. The pleasure comes from making a small change and seeing how the rest of the scene responds.”
